Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has been climbing the ladders of success ever since she made her debut in the Hindi film industry with Dhadak. She is following her late mother, actress Sridevi’s footsteps as she is gearing up for her venture into the Telugu film industry with Devara, co-starring Jr NTR, and an untitled project starring Ram Charan. Amid this, her diet routine has surfaced on the internet. From following an intermittent fasting schedule to eating delicious Korean delicacies on her cheat days, here’s how the actress maintains her perfectly toned physique.

As reported by Bollywood Shaadis, Janhvi makes sure to follow a few key diet rituals. She starts her day by drinking a glass of lukewarm water which consists of a few drops of lemon juice and honey. The detox drink helps eliminate the toxins in the body and improves gut health. The honey in the drink helps enhance skin health too. After consuming the drink, she eats a spoonful of ghee every morning before breakfast. It helps her control hunger and feel full for a long time. The report states that after her morning ritual, the 27-year-old actress takes a cue from an intermittent fasting rule. Se tried to maintain a 16:8 window, where she consumes food between 8 hours and then fasts for the next 16 hours. Talking about her food habits, she loves gorging on home-cooked meals rather than expensive store-bought food. She usually prefers eating gluten-free handmade rotis and seasonal vegetables. The entertainment portal reports that she likes to eat vegetables like bhindi, palak, and methi. To balance out the proportions of the nutrients that she is consuming she also eats a bowl of lentils. The Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl actress makes sure to finish her dinner by 10 PM. Her dinner includes lighter menus like a bowl of salad or a biryani made with red rice. She never skips any of her meals and makes sure to avoid gaps between two consecutive meals. Being a foodie at heart, the diet doesn’t come easy to her. It is natural she will have a set cheat day where she likes to eat delicious Korean food including spicy noodles, bibimbap, and haemul pajeon, also known as a green-onion pancake. Being a fan of Japanese and Italian cuisines, she also likes to eat Nachos and Shirataki noodles.

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan. She has Mr. & Mrs. Mahi co-starring Rajkummar Rao and Ulajh in her pipeline. Apart from that she is currently busy shooting for her Telugu debut in Devara alongside Jr NTR.
